We have the weekly Referee Report:

The Bosnian player that was sent off in ¼ Final was initially sent off for Violent Conduct where he struck the Sweden player by throwing the ball at him when he was on the ground.
After he was sent off he spat at the referee as he was leaving the ground.
As agreed with the PASWC organizers prior to the start of the tournament that any assault against a match official results in the expulsion of that player from the remainder of the tournament. (2 matches)

Spitting or attempt to spit is classified as Violent Conduct or assault !

Hello to all delegates and officials,
Please pass this information to your organizing team, coaches and players.

IMPORTANT REFEREES INFORMATION AND WARNING - SENIORS JUNIORS AND MASTERS:

One of the conditions placed up onto our event, which we agreed to prior to the start of the tournament, was that any assault against a match official (referees or PASWC volunteer) would result in the expulsion of that player from the reminder of the tournament.

SWEARING, SPITTING OR ATTEMPTING TO SPIT is classified as Violent Conduct or Assault !!!

Unfortunately we now have players that cannot compete in the rest of the event as a result of the above penalty.

Future similar sanctions in the next 2 weekends that extend to more than the matches left till the Finals, the PASWC

(with the support of the Referees) will extend that sanction to the player for the next PASWC 2010 and the PASWC organizing Committee may also reconsider NOT inviting the offending team to participate in the future.

Please be early and come prepared. Bring 2 sets of strips/uniofrms, pen, match cards, ice, etc, etc.
